Design is Good

Design done right changes everything. I believe that.

Andiamo Creative helps small businesses and nonprofits make their mark through effective branding, print, and digital design. I work with you to develop brands that evoke emotion, campaigns that get noticed, and websites that inspire action — so you can get back to running your business. Andiamo means “let’s go” in Italian. So how about it?

Rochelle Weiner Carr

I’m the owner, project manager, and hands-on creative director of Andiamo — which means I’m the person you’ll actually be working with, from the first conversation to the final file handoff. Over the years I’ve built a network of top-level freelance professionals who complement my work and bring their best to every project, because they know their next one depends on it. My background spans branding, print, and digital, with a parallel interest in fine art, illustration, and photography that regularly finds its way into client work.

Design Isn't My Only Trick

I am also available for licensing, commissions and collaborations in the following practices.

No Fine Print, Just This

At some point, most small business owners hit a wall. The website needs an update and it turns out someone else controls the login. The logo that looked great on screen falls apart the moment it needs to go on a banner or get embroidered on a shirt. The “affordable” rebrand from an online platform — or lately, an AI generator — produces something that looks impressive in a mockup and is completely unusable in practice. Overly complex, unprintable, and optimized for aesthetics rather than what the business actually needs to communicate. You’ll usually discover this the week before the trade show.

These aren’t rare edge cases. They have their own line item on estimates.

I believe the business owner should hold the keys to everything — the domain, the hosting, the site access, the brand files in every format they’ll ever need. Not because it’s a nice policy, but because it’s your business. You built it. You should be able to hand it to someone new, put it on a truck, or walk away from a vendor without anyone making it difficult. Yes, that makes me easy to leave. I’m choosing to be optimistic about that.

The clients who get the most out of working with Andiamo tend to be small business owners who want a real working relationship — someone who knows their business, is easy to reach, and is still around five years later. If you want someone who knows your business by name rather than by account number, we’re probably your people. (Also, I don’t do video. A gal has her limits.)

A Client Called for My Thoughts

A client called recently. Not with a project, not with a deadline, just to ask what I thought. How awesome is that?
