I just love when people get creative.

Last year, we worked extensively with Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce to develop a new brand identity, including tons of print work, HTML emails, infographics and maps and an extensive custom-designed directory website in WordPress.

This branding design project was one of my favorites in a long time. I was inspired by the Bentwood Pavilion sculpture by Jean Gang Architects, a structural feature installed in Chicago’s iconic Lincoln Park.

For LPCC, the logo design reflects the intertwining partnerships of businesses, tourists and locals in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Well, I just found out that LPCC used my logo design to inspire some really fabulous new signage on the light posts in the neighborhood – fabulous execution of a great idea! Kudos to the LPCC team for coming up with this stellar display! (And thank you for allowing me to display your photos!)

For those who live in the area, look up when you’re traveling down Fullerton between Ashland and Racine!
