Fresh Perspectives Art Collective and Wisconsin Urban Wood paired up to stage an art exhibition that honors some of Milwaukee's most influential black citizens by inviting local artists to create portraits on wood panels made of Milwaukee ash trees, donated by Wisconsin Urban Wood.
I worked with Gravity Marketing to market this event. I designed a graphic identity for this exhibition featuring the work of one of the artists. We created printed posters and graphics for social media channels. Gravity's great work garnered a lot of press attention at the opening which correlated with Black History Month and was held at the Black History Museum in Milwaukee.
